Great find on a business trip to Scottsdale. Nothing fancy. It's an authentic, counter service Mexican joint in a strip mall. Appreciated the "help yourself" chips and salsa.
I have the shredded beef chimichanga with a red sauce and rice and beans. Good flavor. It was a safe option.
One coworker had the mini tacos and raved about them. They looked fantastic. Another coworker had the six halves chicken tacos with a red pepper dip. He also said they were enjoyable.
Overall the portions were good and the price was right. -

It was enjoyable. Very descent prices with authentic, what Texans call Tex-Mex... because what we consider Mexican food is different.
Hubby ordered the rolled tacos which he and my son very much enjoyed. I got the 2 plate combo with a tostada and beef taco. I only ate half of both because it's a lot of food and comes with side of rice and beans (but my inner fat kid wanted to eat it all). I wasn't thrilled that there were onions in the taco though and would have asked for no onions.
Thursday night, come 5pm, this small place was hopping!! Every table was filled and to go orders were on the fly!
I'd come here again. -

Ordered the 2 White Chicken Enchiladas and it had a light cream sauce. That item alone I would give it 4 stars. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Beans and rice were average but came out hot. Free tortilla chips and carrots available, that's always a plus.
The reason I give this place 3 stars instead of 4 is because both of their salsas were watered down. The Tapatio that was on each table had more flavor than the red and brown salsas. -

It is simple and nice. The staff could be friendlier but the food was good. Their chips and salsa is really good. I look forward to going back to try their mini tacos.

One of the best Mexican food I would have tasted ever. Took Fajita chicken burrito and taste was nothing like i tried before.
Smoky chicken flavor and incredibly good tasting. Would definitely revisit. They have self service complementary chips and salsa which is unlimited. Shop is small and congested but enough for a large group too. Store members are nicest too. Plenty of options in menu. Recommended Mexican restaurant.
